“Lost” star ELIZABETH MITCHELL swears she’ll never part with the “lucky shirt” she snagged from a dumpster when she was dead broke years ago – because it landed her in bed with ANGELINA JOLIE and jump-started her career!

“It was a man’s shirt, but it looked expensive, and I was broke and sleeping on floors – so I took it,” recalled Elizabeth.

Immediately, “good things started happening” – and she quickly landed her first big break playing La Jolie’s lesbian lover in “Gia.”

Today, Elizabeth’s tattered shirt’s disintegrating, but still treasured. “It’s my lucky charm!”
