Shooting new flick “Bus 657” outside Mobile, Alabama, Bobby – playing a desperate dude involved in a casino heist – whips a bus into a gas station during a high-speed chase because he’s desperately low on fuel … with hilariously disastrous results!
Grinned My Movie Spy: “De Niro insisted on doing the stunt himself, but the whole thing turned into the Keystone Cops when he gassed up at this old-fashioned pump in a rustic gas station, then drove off – forgetting to remove the nozzle from the bus and ripping it out! Totally rattled, our star abruptly backed the bus up, slamming into several parked cars – and the station itself!
