Hair-raising experience for David Hasselhoff when his trademark chest hair got super-schmeared by sticky fake slime during a “Sharknado 4” gag — triggering a major dilemma because it stuck so hard it threatened bare-chested scenes scheduled to roll next morning on his new “Baywatch” flick!
Revealed my on-set source: “The hair/makeup people just could NOT get the slowly thickening slime out of David’s chest hair! It stuck like … well, like glue. After trying every goop remover, nothing worked — so they suggested shaving his hair off! David went WILD! He balked — refusing to let his hairy chest appear nude as a baby’s bottom on ‘Baywatch’! So the goop had to be soaped-soaked-soaped repeatedly, then combed out very, very gently. Dave was brave, but the super-painful process took HOURS!”
