WELCOME TO NO-MAN LAND: Writers at COURTENEY COX’s “Cougar Town” are rolling their eyes as they struggle to create story lines acceptable to JENNIFER ANISTON – who’ll guest star as a therapist – because she’s flatly warned they’d better walk on eggshells when it comes to the “man” thing!
“There’ll be no story lines about Jennifer having any kind of what she calls ‘weird energy toward men,’” one insider says scribes were told. “So that means Jennifer can’t be a cougar. She’s such a pain!”
(Hey, Jen: No “weird energy toward men” means your character can’t repeat your notorious declaration that women “don’t have to fiddle with a man to have that child.” Right? Because “fiddling” is definitely a weird word. It makes procreation sound downright unpleasant. I mean, you “fiddle” with a thermostat or egg timer…but a baby-daddy??)
