During a scene for Kevin Costner’s latest opus, “Open Range,” a horse spooked and galloped off — as the actor aboard screamed, “HELP!!” Costner, an accomplished rider, spurred his horse, caught up with the runaway and grabbed the reins! The frightened actor — white as a sheet and shaking — refused to get back on the horse. Costner, who’s also directing the film, snapped: “You said you knew how to ride a horse. I don’t have time to give riding lessons.” The spooked actor galloped off — on foot — and the scene was postponed pending a new buckaroo!
