My Spy who worked on the “J. Edgar” movie made my day when he recalled how director CLINT EASTWOOD got all beady-eyed like “Dirty Harry” as he watched pretty-boy stars LEONARDO DICAPRIO and ARMIE HAMMER swat at each other like girls during a fight scene and yelled: “No, no, NO!…CUT!”
Then the 81-year-old film icon personally demonstrated the violent scene with a hard-bodied stuntman, ruthlessly kicking butt until he finally got knocked to the floor, per the script –
Then he hauled his not-so-creaky old bones up and told his stunned stars: “Now, that’s how you do a fight scene!”
