 “…IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME…!”

Superstar singer CHER’s partnering up with comedian/writer RON ZIMMERMAN to co-write a TV series set in the ’60s for Logo, the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) network.

But despite Cher’s talents, writing’s not her trade – so when producers said they wanted her to pen her recollections of Sunset Strip in the Swinging ’60s “in the first person,” she looked suddenly confused and said: “I understand you want me to write my thoughts down, but – who is this ‘first person?’ ”

The room went dead silent until one network exec explained that “the first person is, er…YOU!”

Red with embarrassment, the star said: “I can do that because… I’m the one talking…right?”

Right, Cher…and if you get confused, just sing it, babe  “…I GOT YOU, BABE…!”
