CASE CLOSED

“C.S.I.” investigator William Petersen solved the case of a young woman who accidentally locked her baby girl inside her car in the sweltering LA heat. The actor had just left a store when he saw the mom crying hysterically. He dashed to his car, grabbed a hanger from his dry cleaning and bent the wire into a hook. After 15 minutes of wiggling it through the partly open window — voila! — he finally popped open the lock. The woman gushed a million thanks, then asked if Petersen learned the maneuver from working on his show. “No,” he told her, “I learned from locking my own keys in the car!”
