Mountain-biking with his trainer in the mountains above Malibu, Mel Gibson hit a rock and went tumbling downhill into a stand of brush! He didn’t break any bones but had cuts and bruises all over his face, neck and arms! Mel rode carefully down the mountain, stopped to drink some water and was mobbed by a pack of female riders, who ignored the bloodstains and begged for autographs — which he graciously gave!
