PANTY EMERGENCY DEPT.: OOOPS, she did it again!

BRITNEY SPEARS came to a screeching halt in front of a trendy Santa Monica boutique, but when she tried to get in, the door was locked.

When she frantically began banging on the door, the owner yelled through the glass that the place was closed.

Britney begged, wailing: “This is a true emergency. I won’t be long, I only need ONE item.”

Grudgingly, the owner opened up. Brit sped lickety-split to a pile of pricey underwear, snatched a pair of panties and disappeared into a fitting room.

In less than a minute, the undie-cover singer bounced back out – now apparently undiecovered because all she had in her hand was the price tag.

She forked over $30-plus, told the owner: “You saved my life!” — then peeled away in her snazzy car.
