It’s not always good to stop and smell the roses, as RYAN REYNOLDS learned when he and lady love BLAKE LIVELY, out shopping in his hometown of Vancouver, passed his favorite flower shop and he insisted they stop to sniff.
Ryan regretted his impulse when Blake spotted an upsetting photo hanging on display – Ryan snuggling with sexy ex-y SCARLETT JOHANSSON.
“OHMIGOD! You still have that picture up there?” Ryan gasped.
The red-faced shop owner immediately offered to trash the pic, but – too late! – the magic moment had been nipped in the bud.
Blake’s thorny response: “It’s time to go.”
