The iconic star, who’s played character Luke Spencer on “General Hospital” for a whopping 37 years, was catching a flight from LAX, says My SpyWitness, when an excited female fan suddenly rushed up screaming, “It’s LUKE” … and tried to wrap him in a bear hug!
Recoiling, Geary barked: “Ma’am, don’t touch me!”
After two major surgeries for a balky back, and months of grueling therapy, the star’s still in agony – but watching the mortified woman slink off, he melted!
Waving her over, he explained: “I had back surgery, and can barely stand to have anyone touch me. But if it means that much to you … LET ME HAVE IT!”
And as the teary lady hugged Geary oh-so-tenderly, he looked a bit bright-eyed himself! AAaawwww!
