Weeks ago I asked readers to pick their favorite item from my “Greatest Gossip of 2011” roundup – and win $100 for the most interesting analysis of why they picked it!

The winner: EDGAR POMA of San Francisco.

Edgar picked my item about CHARLIZE THERON helping two struggling actresses holding a make-rent garage sale by contributing – on the spot – the two silicone “chicken cutlets” boosting her barely-there bosom…and autographing them!

Wrote Edgar: “Hoping to win $100 toward my own rent points to why your Charlize item is tops! Stars are finally noticing that a lot of us are struggling out here, and are giving the shirts off their backs – or, in this case, the enhancers off their fronts!”
