Hollywood tough guy MIKE “TOUCH” CONNORS who starred as tough-as-nails private dick “MANNIX" is biting the hand that once fed him and no one puts the touch on TOUCH!

Connors, 85, star of the classic 1960’s series “Mannix”, is suing Paramount and CBS Television Studios claiming he has never been paid royalties on the show despite being owed millions of dollars.

Mike filed the suit Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court and, according to  the complaint,  a 1966 contract grants him 10% of “net profits” from the show and 10% of “gross proceeds” from the use of Connors’ name and likeness on products.

“Mannix”, originally produced by Desilu Productions, ran from 1967-75 on The Tiffany Net and has been in constant syndication worldwide. Connors garnered four Emmy noms for his tough guy portrayal of Joe Mannix who was beaten up every ep.

In the lawsuit, Connors claims Paramount/CBS has sent him accounting statements sporadically saying that no money is owed.

The lawsuit charges the studio claims losses associated with the show have increased as it has aged, growing from $5.1 million in 1975 to more than $9 million today.

Connors is seeking unspecified damages, but, given the longevity of the show, the amount allegedly owed would run well into the millions.

Mike is seeking a full accounting from CBS/Paramount AND back payments owed.

POP FYI: In the beginning of his acting career Mike was billed as "Touch Connors", a holdover from his days as an avid basketball player.
