Wrestling great RANDY “MACHO MAN” SAVAGE dies suddenly in a car accident in Tampa, Florida!

Florida Highway Patrol said Savage  was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he suddenly veered across a concrete median into oncoming traffic.

He "collided head-on with a tree," cops said.

Savage was rushed by EMTs to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.

Savage's wife, Lynn, was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision — but survived with "minor injuries."

Both were wearing their seatbelts.

Randy’s brother, Lanny Poffo, said Savage had suffered a heart attack while driving but the coroner's office wants to make a full autopsy before rending COD.

The grappling great began with the WWF in the 1980s and soon became a star with his trademark catchphrase “Oooooooh yeah!”  At the height of his fame, he became the spokesperson for Slim Jim.

Savage helped define the larger-than-life personalities of the 1980s World Wrestling Federation (now WWE).

Savage wore sequined robes bejeweled with "Macho Man" on the back, rainbow-colored cowboy hats and oversized sunglasses, part of a unique look that helped pro wrestling into a legit mainstream phenomenon.

For most of his career, his sidekick, Miss Elizabeth, was by his side.

Miss Elizabeth was seceretly Elizabeth Hulette, Randy's wife at the time. They later divorced, and sadly Hulette died in 2003 at 42 from a prescription drug overdose.

Fellow grappler HULK HOGAN is more than bereft.

“I’m completely devastated,” The Hulkster Tweeted.

“After over 10 years of not talking with Randy, We’ve finally started to talk and communicate.”

He added, “He had so much life in his eyes & in his spirit, I just pray he’s happy and in a better place and we miss him.”

Adios, amigo….
