Leonardo  DiCaprio may very well add James Bond creator, Ian Fleming, to his already impressive resume of historical figures.

Leo's production company has purchased the rights to an original screenplay entitled -what else --  Fleming. 

The film will center around Fleming's exploits in Moscow during World War II as a commander of Naval Intelligence. 

Fleming based the James Bond character on his own experiences as spymaster and playboy.

"The idea that this guy's life informed the James Bond character is pretty fascinating," producer  Andrew Lazar told the Los Angeles Times.
