KIM KARDASHIAN announces engagement to basketballer KRIS HUMPHRIES.
The New Jersey Nets forward surprised the queen of reality TV May 18 by spreading rose petals around her room reading, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
Kris dropped to one knee and then breathlessly popped the proverbial question as he offered up a 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler to the raven-haired beauty.
"I didn't expect THIS at all,” Kim said.
“I was in such shock.
“I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."
Kardashian, 30, and Humphries, 26, have been dating since December 2010.
Before the b-baller, the daughter of the late Robert Kardashian, a member of OJ Simpson’s legal dream team, was romantically linked to NFL players Reggie Bush and Miles Austin, and hunky male model Gabriel Aubry.
Humphries is the second hoopster to wed a Kardashian as Khloe is married to LA Laker Lamar Odom.
