Katie Homes overwhelmed by grief as death strikes!

Mrs. Tom Cruise, Katie and her immediate family, are mourning the sudden death of her brother-in-law Joseph Jeffrey Fretti, 48.

Fretti, the hubby of Katie's eldest sister Tamera was found in his mother's home in Sarasota, Florida.

Ironically, Fretti, was a funeral director for the Jeffrey Fretti Funeral Home in Toledo, Ohio. 

According to sources, foul play has been ruled out and it is likely that Feretti died from heart failure.

Katie is said to be traveling to Toledo,  her hometown, to attend the funeral being held Monday.
