In a bizarre blurt that caught co-hosts on “The View” by surprise during a discussion about sexual disorders and penile implants, Behar brayed the extremely personal 411 that exec producer BILL GEDDIE had undergone a vasectomy operation – then grilled guest urologist DR. KAREN BOYLE about whether it could be reversed.

Offstage, Geddie instantly turned beet red with fury and embarrassment, say sources. Behar, suddenly hip to her slip, started a brain-dead babble about how “Bill” had “shared” his secret with them…but mercifully, stone-faced Momma Bear BARBARA WALTERS ended the less-than-joyful segment with a lame apology/explanation that the show is “taped live,” and quickly cut to commercial.

Producer Geddie told insiders he’s staggered by Behar’s betrayal of confidence.
