Gruesome piece of Americana as the hearse that carried JOHN KENNEDY’s lifeless body is for sale.

The LA Times reported that an auto auction firm in Scottsdale, Ariz., plans to sell a 1964 Cadillac hearse that company executives say transported the body of President Kennedy after he was assassinated in Dallas in 1963

The hearse was allegedly used to take the body from Parkland Memorial Hospital to Love Field Airport, where Air Force One idled awaiting its arrival to return it to the nation’s capital.

The Barrett-Jackson company photos of the death mobile on its website, along with a history of the vehicle which they say is well documented and authenticated.

"It is titled to us and we have copies of the previous titles," the owner says on the auction website.

This not the first time this tragic vehicle has been offered up.

Until recently, the hearse was listed on eBay for $1.5 million, according to a post on the Antique Automobile Club of America’s website.

The current owner of the hearse wishes to remain anonymous, for obvious reasons.

POP FYI: The open-top convertible JFK was riding in when shot is at the Henry Ford museum in Michigan. It was later modified by the Secret Service with a hardtop.
