Jennifer Aniston has decided on her dream baby daddy – former Friends co-star David Schwimmer!
The Emmy-winning actress, 40, is filming the romantic comedy The Baster about an unmarried 40-year-old who turns to artificial insemination to get pregnant – and pals say the movie is a case of life imitating art.
"Jen’s been telling everyone on the set this film should be promoted as the story of her life," a set insider told The ENQUIRER.
"But the real shocker is that she says her top candidate for artificial insemination is David Schwimmer!"
And in yet another twist on life – maybe – imitating art, Schwimmer’s character fathered Jen’s baby on Friends!
Jennifer has never given up hope of becoming a mother. She recently told a reporter: "I’m going to have children. I just know it."
But with her biological clock ticking and no eligible men on the horizon, sources say Jen now is considering going the single mom route via artificial insemination.
"Jen isn’t afraid of raising a child on her own. She says David is perfect father material because he’s the whole package – handsome, tall, smart and with a full head of hair!"
And at 42, Schwimmer is still a bachelor after a string of failed romances.
The second insider added: "The funny thing is that Jen said when she and David were still starring on Friends, they made a pact that if they were both single at 40, they’d elope and start a family together!"
