A distraught John Mayer is singing the blues over Jennifer Aniston’s hot new romance with Justin Theroux – and is pleading with the beauty to take him back.
The former “Friends” star is happily dating her “Wanderlust” co-star Justin but being barraged with text messages from the Grammy-winning singer, say sources.
“Jennifer is totally involved with Justin, and wants absolutely nothing to do with John,” revealed a friend.
“John broke Jen’s heart, but that doesn’t seem to faze him.
“He’s been relentless in his pursuit of Jennifer lately – texting her witty messages, sending love poems and calling to ask her out. But it’s been two years since they were together, and Jen sees it as far too little far too late.
“She feels she’s found a better, more responsible and reliable man.”
Jennifer’s whirlwind romance with the “Your Body Is a Wonderland” singer began in April 2008.
After 3 1/2 months, the two broke up and then reunited.
But the 33-year-old rocker’s womanizing finally proved too much for Jennifer, 42, who dumped him for good in March 2009, as The ENQUIRER reported.
