A last-minute settlement has been reached in Michael Jackson's showdown with a sheik of Bahrain.

Just as Jacko was about to board a plane to London to testify in the $7 million breach-of-contract lawsuit brought against him by the king of Bahrain's son, Sheik Abdulla bin Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, lawyers for both parties said they reached an agreement.

The King of Pop was "advised by his legal team to postpone his travels since the parties had concluded a settlement in principle," his spokeswoman Celena Aponte said Sunday. "Therefore, he will not be attending court on Monday."

Looks like he beat it again!
