Hillary Clinton has demanded that her newly engaged daughter Chelsea ditch her plans to wed Wall Street whiz kid Marc Mezvinsky – fearing it could end her chances of becoming president.
The reason: Marc’s dad is a notorious swindler and convicted felon.
"Chelsea was overjoyed when Marc proposed to her, and her parents were the first people she told," a close source told The ENQUIRER.
"But Hillary screamed at her, ‘Don’t marry him!’
"The problem is not Marc. He’s been very supportive of Chelsea and became wealthy working at a New York investment house.
"It is because Marc’s dad Ed served five years in federal prisons for a $10 million investment fraud."
Ed, a former Iowa congressman, has also been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
"Hillary knows that one day she will run for president again and feels that Ed’s prison record will hurt her," disclosed the Clinton insider.
