HEIGL: A "GREY'S" GONER

KATHERINE HEIGL’s weird attack on the “Grey’s Anatomy” writers – withdrawing herself from Emmy consideration, saying they gave her crappy scenes – definitely signals that this season’s the chain-smoking bigmouth’s swan song!

A network source says Heigl “wanted to make sure there was no way they’d pick up her option” and knew attacking the show’s writers – who include creator and executive producer SHONDA RHIMES – would do the trick.

“Katherine is not stupid – she doesn’t let remarks like this fly off the cuff,” says a set source.

Look for “Izzie” to die a grisly death, the usual reward for actors who piss off producers.
