Kanye West led the pack as the Grammy nominations were announced Thursday in Hollywood. Kanye received eight nominations while Amy Winehouse followed with six nods for her soulful music.

West and Winehouse will go head to head for album of the year for their CDs Graduation and Back to Black, respectively.

Other top nominees included the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Paul McCartney, T-Pain and Timbaland.
