In an interview with Larry King earlier this week, actress Teri Garr revealed that she has multiple sclerosis.
In fact, Garr has suffered with the disease for nearly 20 years, keeping it a secret because she “didn’t feel it was necessary to tell anybody.”
“I really didn’t think there was any reason to come out and say anything about it,” she said in the interview. She’s speaking out now so she can help others suffering from MS.
“I think now, the good news is there is a lot of good medicine out there,” she said. “If I can just help people to feel better.”
