SEINFELD’S KRAMER SHOCKS CROWD WITH RACIAL SLURS IN COMEDY ACT

Most of the general public remember Michael Richards for his portrayal of the wacky and outlandish Cosmo Kramer on the NBC series Seinfeld, but the actor/comedian recently made headlines of a more controversial nature when he performed a comedy routine that included several off-color racial slurs.

TMZ.com is reporting that Richards took to the stage at West Hollywood’s Laugh Factory comedy club Friday and his performance left audience members in shock.

The trouble began when two African-American men reportedly started heckling Richards. However, the comic misconstrued their good-natured ribbing and went off.

In a video obtained by the Web site, Richards is seen verbally attacking the two audience members, saying "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f***ing fork up your ass."

Realizing that his comments left the general audience unsettled and confused, the comedian then told the crowd “"They're going to arrest me for calling a black man a nigger."

The three-minute verbal altercation resulted in the many of the show’s attendees walking out of the performance.
