NO MORE HOWARD STERN?

description

Howard Stern, the self-proclaimed “King of All Media,” may be stepping down from his throne as soon as next week. The shock jock certainly shocked fans when he revealed his hugely successful morning show could come to a sudden end on December 15.

That’s the day his five-year contract runs out and supposedly renewal negations have soured as of late. Stern, known for his wild humor, promises this is no joke.

“This is not a disc jockey stunt,” Stern said. “I don’t do jockey stunts.”

Of course, that doesn’t mean he’s not going to milk the situation for all he can. With promos like “You won’t want to miss the King of All Media’s fond farewells” and “Howard says good-bye,” it’s quite obvious he’s not trying to hide the news from anyone.

Stern has always been extremely vocal about his personal life. Earlier this year he openly shared the news of his break up with wife Allison.

At this point, it looks as if Stern and company could go either direction. Last week he said there was a 60 percent chance of a return.

“I don’t want to leave,” he said to one caller. “I want to re-sign.”

Find out how this story ends on December 15!
