Nicole Richie was arrested early Monday for DUI after allegedly going the wrong way on a Celifornia freeway, according to TMZ.com. The Simple Life star reportedly told officers she had taken Vicodin and smoked pot and was booked for DUI at 4:50 a.m. She was later released at 7:17 a.m. after posting $15,000 bail on the misdemeanor, according to the sheriff’s department, which did not immediately release other details. According to TMZ, a preliminary alcohol screening device indicated that she was not under the influence of alcohol.
