Actor Jason Priestley received his sentence today for his DUI conviction from last year — a whopping five days of community service!
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star was picked up last March after he crashed into a pole while driving drunk in Hollywood Hills. As a result, he’ll be serving a grueling five days in a work-release program at California’s Gateways Community Correction Center.
According to reports, the 31-year-old actor is expected to put in up to 12 hours a day and will even spend a few nights at the center. Priestly didn’t put up a fight with the judge’s decision, saying he “will respectfully fulfill his commitment” to the court and that he was “remorseful” for what had happened.
His sentence comes just a few weeks after former 90210 co-star Shannen Doherty was arrested outside of Los Angeles on the same charges.
