FAITH REIGNS SUPREME AT AMAs

Faith Hill reigned supreme at Monday night’s American Music Awards, proving this small-town girl from Star, Miss., had finally gone mainstream.

Not only did the newly coiffed Faith — looking something like a wind-blown, adult version of Christina Aguilera — take home two awards in the country category, she also brought home the award for favorite pop/rock artist.

Faith showed her humorous side when she accepted the award for favorite female country artist by poking fun at the Britney Spears’ dancers, who appeared to be wearing men’s tightie-whities. Faith confessed jokingly, “I was gonna wear my husband’s underwear, but they had a hole in them.”
