Hole singer Courtney Love has filed suit against a woman she claims has been stalking her for over a year now — and she’s not even a fan!
The trouble began when the musician-actress hooked up with Jim Barber, an executive at Geffen Records. His ex-wife, Lesley Barber, apparently was enraged with the relationship and Love says she soon became a “victim” of a “20-month campaign of stalking.”
In the lawsuit, the notorious singer says Barber has physically threatened her, threatened to burn down her home, and even frame her for drug possession!
According to the New York Daily News, the stalking has already resulted in physical injury. Love claims she was assaulted by Barber on June 4 when her foot was ran over by a Volvo.
The incident forced her to get dropped from a movie she was working on, resulting in the loss of $500,000.
