Supermodel Claudia Schiffer is to blame for over 300 thefts in Frankfurt, Germany – but it’s not what you think!
Posters featuring a half-naked Schiffer, wearing only a bra and panties, have been displayed all over the city and residents are doing anything to get their hands on one. Out of the 600 display cases around town, 300 have already been busted open and are now posterless.
The hot item is an advertisement for a lingerie line by Hennes & Maurtiz, a Swedish-based company. The retailer has revealed there are approximately 6,100 of the posters throughout Germany.
Not to worry though, H&M has figured out a way to eliminate the sudden wave of crime – they’ve agreed to give away the racy posters for free at their Frankfurt office.
