It looks like British actress Helen Bonham Carter has broken up another home.
The actress, who broke up the marriage of Sense and Sensibility star Emma Thompson and actor-director Kenneth Branagh, was photographed walking arm in arm with director Tim Burton.
Burton recently directed Bonham Carter in Planet of the Apes along with his girlfriend of ten years, former Calvin Klein model Lisa Marie. Lisa Marie, who met Burton at a New Year’s party in 1991 is said to be livid about the affair.
A friend of Marie’s told Page Six “Helena used to have [Lisa Marie] over for lunch all the time, and Lisa thought they were friends.” The two worked together for over a year on Planet of the Apes.
Another friend of Marie’s said “Tim was Lisa’s world…They were together for 10 years and doesn’t Helena Bonham Carter break everyone up?”
Burton reportedly hung up on Marie after breaking the news that their relationship was over. He has since been photographed looking cozy with Helena Bonham Carter in London.
As for Bonham Carter, her spokesperson claims she could not possibly have had an affair with Burton during filming of Apes since “She was in latex from head to toe,” during filming. Representative Melody Korenbrot said the couple began dating after Burton broke up with Lisa Marie.
Lisa Marie’s spokesperson also confirmed that she and Burton have definitely broken up.
