Marcia Cross may be pregnant but that doesn’t mean her Desperate Housewives character, Bree Van De Kamp is having a baby. Cross broke the news that Bree would not be with child on Good Morning America and Live With Regis and Kelly on Monday, the morning after Housewives returned for a third season on ABC. “I thought [the writers were] going to write it in, but [the show is] so thick with the plot this year,” Cross told Diane Sawyer. “I’m going to be hiding behind bowls and flowers.” Cross, who is due in April, said she would remain on the show throughout the pregnancy.
