Actor Brad Renfro was sentenced Thursday to two years probation for his August attempt to steal a yacht in Florida — a story first brought to you by The National ENQUIRER.
“I don’t have any excuses or fast one-liners to pull out of my shoes,” Renfro told Broward County Judge Ronald Rothschild, owning up to his part in the crime.
The 18-year-old actor, who starred in the 1994 film The Client, must also pay more than $4,000 to the boat’s owner, stemming from damage done to the vessel during the attempted heist, and nearly $150 to the local police department to cover the cost of investigating the incident.
