As revealed in The ENQUIRER May 5, 2008 edition, CSI star Gary Dourdan, who was busted for alleged drug possession, was canned from the hit CBS series for - guess - drug and alcohol abuse!

The 43 year-old actor confessed in interviews to "reckless periods" where he abused D & A but had claimed he quit cold turkey in his 20s.

Despite that, insiders told The ENQUIRER that CSI producers were fed up with non-rehabbed habs and fired him, pulling the plug on his crime bustin' career.
