Hollywood legend ELIZABETH TAYLOR has died at 79. As The ENQUIRER exclusively first reported Taylor's days were numbered when she was first rushed to the hospital over two months ago.

The announcement was made on Good Morning America this AM.

Liz died of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she had been hospitalized, her publicist Sally Morrison confirmed. "All her children were with her," Morrison said.

Taylor was considered to be one of the greatest actresses of all time – winning Oscars twice for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Butterfield 8.

She was married 8 times – twice to Richard Burton

Elizabeth Taylor's son Michael Wilding added in a statement: "My Mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with great passion, humor, and love…we will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world…Her remarkable body of work…all make us all incredibly proud of what she accomplished…the world is a better place for Mom having lived in it," he added.
