3/12/10 UPDATE: Superior Court Judge Abraham Penn Jones ruled that Andrew Young was not in contempt of court for his accounting of how he handled items that Edwards mistress Rielle Hunter is seeking.

A North Carolina judge has ordered former John Edwards loyalist Andrew Young to jail for faling to hand over the Edwards- Hunter sex tape.
The Raleigh News & Observer reports Chatham County Superior Court Judge Abraham Penn Jones has held Young and his wife, Cheri, in contempt and ordered them jailed up to 75 days.
Judge Jones said had lied about how many copies of the sordid sex tape exists and just how many people have viewed them.
"There were things told to the court, under oath, in affidavits, in testimony that turned out to be inaccurate," the judge said.
Young, the author of the best-seller The Politician about his role in the Edwards conspiracy of silence, said previously another copy of the tape was handed over to the FBI for the Grand Jury investigation into John Edwards alleged theft of PAC funds to pay off mistress Rielle Hunter.
Hunter, claiming theft of personal property, has gone after both Young and his wife, in a North Carolina court.
It is suspected that the counter-attack waged by Hunter may be secretly masterminded by a very shrewd former trial lawyer — John Edwards himself.
As The ENQUIRER reported in a world bombshell exclusive last week the Grand Jury’s indictment of Edwards is "imminent".
