BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN’s long time band mate saxophonist CLARENCE CELMEONS felled by stroke.

“The Big Man” Clemons, 69, was stricken over the weekend at his Florida home, AP and Rolling Stone reported.

The condition of the 6-foot-4 musician, was not immediately clear, but reportedly was "seriously ill."

In recent years, The E Street band great has suffered from numerous ailments. He had double knee surgery and performed from a wheelchair.

But Clemons health seemed to be on the upswing. Last month, he performed with Lady Gaga on the season finale of "American Idol."

Clemons can also be seen with Aretha Franklin on her 80s music video “Freeway to Love” and as a denizen of the future in “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure”. Clemons last performed with Bruce and the E Street Band in December.
