Dennis Rodman, former NBA star and freak-at-large, was busted by L.A. cops for wailing on a woman at a hotel.

LAPD arrested Rod late Wednesday night after responding to reports of domestic abuse.

A police statement said, "Officers learned (Rodman) hit a woman and she suffered injuries."

The cops booked the terrible titan, before releasing him on $50,000 bail.

"It's really uncharacteristic for him," said one of Rodman's managers.
