The man convicted of murder in the Amanda Knox case suddenly broke his years-long silence last night, telling an Italian TV show that he was “101 percent” certain the American woman was at the scene where British student Meredith Kercher was killed.

Rudy Guede, a native of the Ivory Coast serving 16 years at Viterbo Prison in central Italy for the slaying, professed his innocence — though he stopped short of saying Amanda actually committed the 2007 crime.

The National ENQUIRER had all the original shocking details “Foxy Knoxy” and her hellish experiences in Italian custody.

As he has always maintained, Guede, 29, said he was using the bathroom when he heard Amanda arrive at the Perugia, Italy, apartment she shared with Meredith.

“I heard the bell ring,” he recalled. “Meredith opened the door, and I heard the voice of Amanda Knox coming into the house. They started arguing. Earlier on, Meredith complained about her stealing money, so I didn’t worry too much, and remained in the bathroom.

“I clearly recognized her voice,” he said. “101 percent,” he told the show “Maledette Storie” (“Cursed Stories”), which chronicles controversial tales.

Guede only emerged from the bathroom when he heard a scream that was audible over the music on his iPod. “When I got out the lights were all off apart from Meredith’s bedroom,” he said. “I saw the silhouette of a man in front of her door.”

He did not identify the man at all — and pointedly did not refer to him as Amanda’s then-boyfriend, Rafaelle Sollecito. Guede said Amanda and the stranger ran away when they realized someone else was in the apartment.

Amanda and Rafaelle were put on trial four times for the murder, serving four years in prison through a seemingly endless series of convictions and appeals until they were fully exonerated last March.
