NOT-SO-PERFECT-MURDER

description

Tami Duvall was convinced TV had taught her the perfect way to kill her husband and go scot-free. “Tami loved watching crime shows such as ‘CSI’ and ‘NCIS,’” her next-door neighbor Brandon Wright told The ENQUIRER. “She said she knew how to get away with murder.”

She invited her estranged husband Alan, who wanted to reconcile with her, to her home in Columbus, Ind., in August 2007 for a meal. A month earlier, she had taken out a $100,000 life insurance policy on him.

At the end of the dinner, she fixed Alan’s favorite dessert – a mix of Oreo cookies, vanilla instant pudding and whipped cream.

It was the last thing 61-year-old Alan would ever eat.

Investigators say the blonde nursing assistant laced the treat with a lethal dose of morphine, which killed him.
