Ana Diaz Ceja was in the prime of her life. Happily married and the mother of a beautiful 5-year-old son, the striking brunette with the soulful eyes had recently given birth to another boy.
But Ana made the tragic mistake of befriending the wrong people — and she paid the ultimate price.
The 26-year-old met Teresa Robles and her husband Jose Augustin Velarde at a medical clinic not long after delivering her second child, a boy she had named Anthony.
While in the waiting room at the clinic, Teresa and Jose admired the baby, and Ana graciously let Teresa hold him.
What ana didn’t know was that Teresa had suffered a miscarriage over the summer and was desperate for a son, even though she already had three children. It was in that moment, with Ana’s newborn cradled in her arms, that Teresa and her husband began to plot their diabolical scheme to murder Ana and kidnap her baby.
