GARRIDOS PLOT TO STOP JAYCEE FROM TESTIFYING

description

Jaycee Dugard’s kidnappers, Phillip and Nancy Garrido, have come up with a secret plan designed to keep Jaycee from testifying against them, The ENQUIRER has learned.

Phillip, 59, and Nancy, 54, have been charged with 29 felonies for the 1991 kidnapping and subsequent rape of Jaycee and the forced imprisonment of her and her daughters – Angel, 16, and Starlit, 12.

Phillip’s trial has been postponed as his mental competency is evaluated. But Garrido isn’t crazy, just evil, say sources. In fact, sources say Garrido is so sharp he devised a scheme to send coded messages to Jaycee in an attempt to emotionally manipulate her. The Garridos believe her testimony could be the deciding factor in whether they receive life in prison or a lesser sentence.

The ENQUIRER has also learned exclusively that up until recently the Garridos had been asking people they know to try to locate Jaycee, who remains in hiding.

“They were hoping to communicate with her so they could play on her emotions and keep her from giving damaging testimony,” said a source. “The Garridos think she’s vulnerable because they practically raised her.”
