Rachelle Waterman was so angered when her mother threatened to send her to a fat farm that she hatched a fiendish plot to kill her, say authorities.
The 16-year-old schoolgirl sought the help of her 22-year-old boyfriend – and he and his pal murdered Rachelle’s 48-year-old mother Lauri.
"Rachelle wanted her mother out of her life, and she cultivated the two people who had the right mix of gullibility and devotion to carry out her wishes," said Assistant District Attorney Jean Seaton.
Incredibly, Rachelle kept a public record of her thoughts and activities on LiveJournal, a popular blogging service.
She called her journal "My Crappy Life."
The talented teen was a high school honor student in Craig, Alaska, and a former choir girl, but her journal painted a picture of a dark, troubled girl who was fascinated with the occult. She said she hated her small island home and her demanding mother.
"I live in the suckiest place on earth," Rachelle blogged. "Sometimes I just wish my mother wasn’t there. She’s causing me so much pain."
Then one day her mother made a fatal mistake – threatening to pack her off to a fat farm.
