EMPLOYEE’s BOMB THREAT KEEPS BOSS “ON TIME”

Loyal employee Claudia De La Rosa was so afraid her boss would miss his flight that she called in a bomb threat to delay his plane!

Frantic security officials at Miami International Airport held the flight for hours while they removed the luggage for inspection and searched every inch of the aircraft.

Meanwhile, detectives worked feverishly to track down the person behind the threat.

"It’s the craziest thing I’ve heard of," said a law enforcement official. "I’ve heard of trying to impress your boss and get a raise, but this is ridiculous!"

The bizarre episode unfolded the day before Thanksgiving when De La Rosa’s boss was due to catch a 10 a.m. flight to Honduras.

De La Rosa, a Colombian native, told cops she arrived late for work that morning, causing her supervisor to fall behind schedule leaving for the airport.

Terrified she’d get into trouble, she decided to buy him some extra time by calling in the bomb threat.
When cops tracked her down at her apartment early Thanksgiving morning, De La Rosa admitted her crime and was charged with making a false report of a bomb.

"We don’t know whether she’s going to get a raise – or get fired!" said the official
