On Dec. 30, 2006, in Los Angeles, "Dancing With The Star" finalist BRANDY plowed her Range Rover into a Toyota driven by Awatef Aboudihaj, a 38-year-old mother of two.
Aboudihaj then slammed into the car in front of her and careened into a highway divider where yet another vehicle crashed into her Toyota. Aboudihaj died the next day.
Although Brandy was not charged with a crime, she was sued by relatives of the deceased and occupants of the other cars, and paid hundreds of thousands of dollars.
“I pray about it every single day,” the singer, now 31, said in a recent interview. “It changed my life and the lives of everyone involved.”
