COPS ARREST SUSPECT IN MURDER OF ASHTON'S GIRLFRIEND
The man who murdered Ashton Kutcher’s ex-girlfriend was finally brought to justice.
Cops have charged an air conditioning repairman in the brutal stabbing death of Ashley Ellerin, a 22-year-old model.
“Ashton had nightmares for years over the killing,” a close pal told The ENQUIRER.
Michael Gargiulo, 32, was recently charged with Ashley’s murder, which had remained a mystery since it occurred in February of 2001.
Ashton, 30, was starring in the hit series “That ’70s Show” when he dated Ashley. On the night of the murder, he told police he went to pick her up for a post-Grammy Awards party and she failed to answer the door at her Hollywood Hills home.
He left the house after looking through a window and seeing what he thought were red wine stains on the carpet.
The stains were actually blood. Ashley was found dead the next morning. She’d been stabbed nearly 50 times.
Ashton was questioned in the gruesome murder, “and grieved for years over Ashley. It was a horrible ordeal,” the pal said.
About two years after the killing, he was introduced to Demi Moore and the couple married in September 2005.
“Demi is Ashton’s rock,” said his pal. “Thank God she’s there to help him through this.”
